“Look like a dancer, feel like a dancer!”

Rivers emphasizes the importance of presentation, both inside and outside the studio, for the development of discipline, confidence, and self-respect among students. Teachers set an example by maintaining a well-groomed appearance and expect students to do the same by wearing appropriate dance attire for each class. The focus on proper dance clothing is not only for ease of movement but also for clear communication between teachers and students, preventing injuries, and enhancing the overall dance experience. To assist students in obtaining the required attire, Rivers provides a dedicated Dance Shop, 'The Rivers Pointe,' at the studio, offering a range of dance essentials at affordable prices.

Tiny Tots (3-5 yrs): Studio 7 Pale pink leotard with matching chiffon skirt, pink wrap-over for winter, studio 7 pink ballet tights & MDM pink canvas ballet shoes. Hair must be in a bun.

Primary/Grade 1: Studio 7 Pale pink leotard with matching chiffon skirt, pink wrap-over for winter, studio 7 pink ballet tights & MDM pink canvas ballet shoes. Hair must be in a bun.

Grades 2 /3 /4 Ballet: Studio 7 Burgundy leotard option to wear matching wrap skirt, Studio 7 Ballet tights & MDM canvas Ballet shoes. Hair must be in a bun.

Grades 5 / 6 Ballet: Studio 7 Navy Blue leotard option to wear matching wrap skirt, Studio 7 Ballet tights & MDM canvas Ballet shoes. Hair must be in bun.

Intermediate/Advanced Ballet: Senior students are able to dress in Free Expression provided students are wearing a leotard and Ballet tights and Ballet shoes

Boys Ballet: White canvas ballet shoes, close fitting bonds chesty t-shirt or singlet & blue tights or shorts.

Boys JFH & Contemporary: Close fitting bonds chesty t-shirt in black or Rivers T-shirt with black tights or shorts.

Jazz Classes: :Studio 7 Black leotard or Rivers T-shirt and black bike pants with tan tights, black Jazz shoes, hair must be in a bun or pony tail.

Contemporary Classes: Studio 7 Black leotard or Rivers T-shirtand black bike pants with either tan or ballet footless tights or long black tights. Contemporary socks or half lyrical shoes, hair must be in a bun or a pony tail.

Hip Hop Classes: Rivers T-shirt and loose pants, sneakers, hair must be in a pony tail.
